Ben is a values-driven executive with influential leadership skills and strong financial acumen. Ben has a track record of successfully leading large commercial and organisational teams. Through his time with the CBH Group, and prior to this with Cargill Australia Limited, Ben was involved in assessing supply chain assets for lease and commercial agreement, as well as serving on supply chain investment governance committees. CBH Group’s current investment of between A$500 to A$600 million per annum in the Western Australian grain supply chain network provided Ben with opportunity to build strong understanding and knowledge of supply chain project cost/benefit analysis, project prioritisation and execution.

On joining Elders, General Manager Western Region, Matt Ericsson, said the addition of Ben to the leadership team would add to the network’s depth in Western Australia’s rural market. “It is fantastic to have Ben’s experience in our business along with his deep understanding of the Australian grain markets. He knows the people, the landscapes, and the commercial realities that our clients operate in, and that local insight will be a real asset for our teams and our clients across the state and country.”
